Chocolate cake (EDITED: MORE PICS!)

This weekend was really about eating chocolate.  My friends ladybugginout  and Diana came over to make dinner Friday night -- we later went to Sweet Surrender to satisfy our chocolate cravings.  Two cakes.  One chocolate and one carrot cake.  YUM.  I love icing.  We then headed over to Cafe Classicos for flamenco dancing which would have been so much better if the air conditioning in the place was working.  ICK.  It was just too hot.  I don't know how the dancer even did it!

Saturday I baked chocolate peanut butter fudge chip cookies for a party.  It was a law school party but I didn't see joe_khamael nor funambulator .  Where were you guys?  The party was hopping at Jane's!  I hung out there for a little and then hung out w/ ladybugginout until I started falling asleep.  Then I hung out on the pool deck meeting my neighbors for a little.  They wanted to pet my new doggy and they were trying to set her up with Baxter, a very studly boxer who also lived in the complex. 

Yesterday my mom and I set up the buddy cam so that we could chat w/ my brother, sis-in-law and my CUTE niece who live in Florida.  It's such a neat piece of technology!  It was pretty neat to see Laine crawling around and sitting back to grab something, on the video while we were all talking.  Pretty neat to see my brother and my sis-in-law and talk at the same time.  I don't think Laine quite got what was going on.  My mother was shouting all sorts of things and Laine was just like, "gah?" 

I then went on a date.  With a yoga student of mine.  Tee hee :-)  Very nice guy.  We shall see.
